An Evening with David Harrison and His “After Dark” Critters:

Enjoy hearing author David Harrison and a team of actors read his new release, “After

Dark: Poems about Nocturnal Animals,” and meet some “after dark” creatures from the

Dickerson Park Zoo. There will be other special guests and surprises, too! For families

with children preschool-grade 2 in the Library Center auditorium on Saturday, March 21

from 7-8:30 p.m. Books will be available for sale and signing.


How-To Festival:

1 day, 25 presentations and 100 percent free! On Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m.-2:15

p.m., the Library Center will be a one-stop how-to extravaganza with local experts

joining Library staff in a lively series of lessons and hands-on experiences. The How-To

Festival will include sessions on a wide variety of topics including pressure cooking,
