About Me
Hello! I'm Janel Plunkard, your local Publisher of Macaroni KID Springfield MO. My family and I reside in Southwest Springfield, where I'm a proud mom to four amazing boys aged 19, 15, 5, and 2. We're always on the lookout for engaging activities that cater to all age groups across Southwest Missouri and beyond. Our favorite pastimes include hiking, exploring local parks, and enjoying the scenic Ozark Greenway trails.
I have a passion for writing and love sharing our family’s experiences and adventures around Springfield and beyond. Beyond Macaroni KID, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a bachelor's degree in nutrition science, and the owner of My Nourished Family. I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in dietetics to further enhance my expertise and ability to support our community.
