"My two youngest children have been on the field with Lil Kickers since their grand opening. We have had an incredible experience that has been unique for both of them. I was initially hesitant to put my 4-year-old daughter in a structured program, due to her unique developmental and physical needs, in addition to being on the spectrum. When I heard about how differently this program was designed and how the focus was on the whole child, I decided to give it a shot. My daughter has grown so much over the last two seasons in stability, coordination, and focus. She is motivated each week to meet personal goals and has a great respect for her uniform. What I thought would be just good exposure to group participation, turned into so much more. The staff is dedicated to making each child feel wholly supported at the individual level as well as establishing the importance of their committed piece of the team level. My 2-year-old son is in a "my way or the highway" phase. He decides how and when he participates with no pattern or warning. However, the coaches have a magic way of redirecting his attention and creatively capturing his participation with ease. I have had the joy of watching him warm up to his teammates and coaches as the season has progressed. I especially appreciate watching him learning to take turns, establish responsibility and help collect equipment, and building listening skills as he follows multistep directions. The facility, staff, and curriculum are all top notch. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit and see what the program has to offer.
