Founded in 1976, Springfield Ballet, a not-for-profit, cultivates passion for dance & life skills through Core Values & premier education. Offering pre-professional training, seasonal performances at Landers Theatre, and outreach in Title 1 schools, it enriches the community with ballet.
The school’s curriculum is built around the core values of professionalism, excellence, and discipline and provides an atmosphere that fosters self-confidence, grace, focus and a thoughtful attitude toward instructors and other students. Our highly skilled, professional faculty offer classes in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tap and stretch & strengthen. Classes are offered for all skill levels to individuals ages two through adult. Springfield Ballet classes are unique in that they are neither recital nor competition driven. 100% of valuable classroom time is spent learning and strengthening dancers’ technique rather than practicing a routine for performance. Students interested in performing may audition for Springfield Ballet’s season productions held in the fall and spring each year.
