Welcome to Wild Animal Safari™. At our drive-thru animal parks, you will meet many animals and learn about how they live in the wild. Choose from guided or self-guided tours and discover the beauty of nature.
There are two main attractions in experiencing the Wild Animal Safari -Strafford™ theme park. General Admission to the Wild Animal Safari - Strafford™ park includes admission to the Drive-Thru Safari and the Walkabout Adventure Zoo™.
The Drive-Thru Safari adventure is a 5-mile ride that allows you to come face-to-face with more than 65 species of animals on a 350-acre nature park, including elk, water buffalo, and wildebeest running free. Tigers, hyenas, zebras, and hundreds of other wild animals in their natural habitat are just a few of the animals that you’ll see on your wild animal safari! This is truly a fun family experience for visitors of all ages.
The Walkabout Adventure Zoo™ allows you to meet the animals in a zoo-like setting. Stretch your legs and make friends with our resident Bengal tigers, African lions, peacocks, exotic birds, lemurs, monkeys, and much more.

While we will still sell tickets at our in-park ticket booth, you can purchase them online to expedite the entry process. Those with advance tickets may enter in a separate line. We encourage our guests to use the discounted online ticket options. If online tickets are sold out for a particular day, you can still purchase tickets for that day in person at the park.
The last ticket will be sold one hour before closing on each day. However, we strongly recommend arriving at least 2 hours before closing so that your party has the opportunity to see the entire park.

Severe weather policy:
Snowy and icy conditions create dangerous driving conditions throughout the park. As such, we will close down the park if severe weather occurs or is expected. If there are days when the high does not reach 32 degrees, we may also close. Call (417) 859-5300 before going.
