It's almost pick-your-own time in Greater Springfield!

We love supporting our local farmers and buying locally-grown produce and goods. Plus, it's fun for the whole family to visit a pick-your-own  (PYO) or "U-Pick" farm in Springfield, Missouri.

Here are a few things to note before heading out to PYO farms in Springfield, MO:

  • Pick-your-own farms can sometimes change hours on short notice depending on weather, produce availability, and other factors. It's best to call ahead to make sure pick-your-own is available that day. Prices can also change from day to day.
  • Bring cash as some Springfield area pick-your-own farms don't take credit cards.

Boz's Berry Farm

When: Open in May; Monday to Saturday 7 am to 6pm, Sunday 10  am to 4 pm
Hours may change DAILY depending on availability and weather.

More information: U-pick and pre-picked available. A picnic area is available to bring your own food for lunch at the farm!


Tasty Acres Strawberries and More

When: Open for strawberries in May. 7am to 7pm, Monday through Saturday & Sunday 2pm to 7pm

More information: Payment: Cash, Debit cards, Visa/MasterCard, Discover, American Express. Tasty Acres fruit is grown without pesticides, herbicides, or fumigants. Also available later in the season, sweet corn, green beans, and elderberries.


Missouri Berries

When: Open in May; Mon-Friday 9am-1pm; Sat/Sun 9a-4p.
Occasional evening picking times will be available and the farm may close any day for weather or ripening. Check Facebook or call for daily updates. 

Where: 2097 S Hwy PP, Republic MO 65738

More information: Payment accepted: cash and card; spend time on the farm exploring a 5-acre blueberry field, 3.5-acre strawberry field, 40 acres of farmland, activity area, little library, and reading trail. Concessions are available including fresh donuts, lemonades, frozen strawberry lemonade, and more! 


Brown's Berry Farm

Call before arriving. Closures can be unexpected  to allow for fruit ripening and inclement weather.

More information: Burton's blueberries are pesticide-free, but are not certified organic. It is recommended to use Google directions only, not other GPS apps. Cool down with a delicious frozen blueberry lemonade at the bakery during your visit!
