Willard Parks and Recreation is thrilled to host a full day of Christmas activities designed for all ages. Bring your family and friends for a day packed with holiday cheer, fun crafts, festive floats, and beautiful music, all culminating in the grand Christmas on the Frisco Parade!
Schedule of Events:
- Community Float Building Party: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Kick off the festivities by joining neighbors, friends, and local businesses as they bring their float designs to life! All are welcome to participate, and supplies are limited, so come early to help create the magic. - Crafts & Cocoa with Santa: 10:00 am – Noon
Join Santa at the Willard Community Building (222 W Jackson St) for a morning of crafts and cocoa! Kids can make festive crafts, sip on warm cocoa, and meet Santa himself. This is a free event, and families are encouraged to bring cameras for photos with Santa. - Christmas on the Frisco Parade: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
The main event kicks off with the beloved Christmas on the Frisco Parade, starting at 2:00 pm! Watch floats, marching bands, and holiday characters make their way down Jackson Street. This year’s theme is “Favorite Christmas Movies,” so look out for some familiar scenes and beloved characters! Best viewing spots are in downtown Willard, near 211 E Jackson St. - Community Choral Celebration at the Trail Head: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
After the parade, gather at the Frisco Trail Head to enjoy a beautiful Community Choral Celebration. Local choirs and performers will fill the air with classic carols and holiday favorites for a festive, heartwarming experience.
Directly following the parade, winners of the Downtown Decorating Contest, Reindeer Imposter Contest, and parade categories will be announced at the Trail Head.
